Hi all

Can someone tell me:

1. When the first Rangie came to Australia?
2. From what years were they assembled in Australia?
3. When the last 2-doors were produced?

Thanks

Have a mate in Canberra looking for a project. Trying to convince him that a 2-door 'play-thing' would be ideal

Good luck trying to find one that is salvageable.

Good 2 door Rangies are fetching good money as they're rare. Cheap ones are stuffed, rusted out or just need a ****load of TLC.

God luck,

Trav

There should be a heritage order placed on them before it is too late! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Definatley, I haven't seen a 2 door Rangie on the roads in Brissie for a while now.

Wouldn't mind grabbing one for myself before they all dissapear for a restoration one day

I would love one, but do not have the space. Don't even have space for 'Iggy' at the moment, so things are getting serious

Next best thing??? Good mate who wants a 2-door Rangie project https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Need to talk him and his missus into it yet.

There was a beautiful traffic yellow therefore OZ assembled 81 on Ebay last weekend going for about 2 grand. It looked immaculate .
It even had the pulse air pipes etc. still on it. Must be the only one in the World.
I begged , I pleaded to no avail.

The last 2-doors were built in 1994, the CSKs were a tad earlier.

From http://www.carpages.co.uk/land_rover/land_...er_02_05_02.asp (http://www.carpages.co.uk/land_rover/land_rover_500000th_range_rover_02_05_02.asp)

1990

A limited edition two-door 'CSK' model - named after Charles Spencer King, the Range Rover's original designer - goes on sale in the UK.

<snip>

1994

As the last two-door examples of the original Range Rover are built for export in January 1994, the all-new second-generation Range Rover is launched. .......
