Who do you use for an insurer when doing remote travel?
Second, RACQ only tow under 4 tonne GVM.
Those of you over that, who do you use as an insurer for remote recovery?

Still may be a long way from home and in the wrong direction.

I use RACV Total Care. This gives 100km of free towing in regional/remote areas and the rest of the towing is paid for using the annual $2400 benefit you get as part of the membership package.

So, provided the extra amount of towing required beyond your first free 100km costs less that $2400 you still don't pay anything out of pocket.

I'm sure that RACQ will be the same.
