The Terrafirma has been discussed here many times.
From memory the offset is not legal for Australia and/or they don't fit over the D4 3.0L front brakes without caliper modification.
Plus they cost more than Tuffants anyway, which do fit the D4 3.0L without modification and without offset issues.

The Moab appears to be a Compo copy for basically the same price as a Compo.

Just from the picture you can see the offset is quite different to the TuffAnt.

Moab- Compo rip off for sure. It's what caught my eye when I saw the picture. Have more of a squarer look to them.

I often just type Discovery 4 or Range Rover Classic in the search bar and see what comes up. This is the first time I have seen either of these. I usually just see the over priced chrome bling strips for the door handles or door grab handle storage thingos or something.

Happy with the 20's and a set of TuffAnts for now..

I contacted Kirk Barker from 4WD1 today to get some feedback on this new offering. His response in italics below...

The wheels are cast, weigh 15kg approx., are hub-centric, allow reuse of OE wheel nuts (not supplied), and are available in any colour you like as long as it’s black. The wheels have their own centre caps as illustrated which push and clip into place. You could retro-fit the OE centre caps effectively, but to secure them they would require glue/silicon to hold them in place.

The wheels have been developed on and for the D4 model Discovery and solves the traditional problem of front caliper clearance with an 18-inch diameter wheel fitment. We have no experience, nor can confirm the application for D3 Discovery variants.

I suggested to him that doing a fitment check on the big-brake D3/RRS/FFRR might be worthwhile as there are a lot more of them than just D4s. It'd be interesting to see if they clear the 4-pot Brembos like the Compos do. I'll update this if any new information comes to hand.

So the summary is... they are cheaper, heavier, cast ilo forged, do not allow LR centre caps, do use OE wheel nuts, and only available in black (compared with the Compomotives). Apart from that they are functionally identical (same load rating, offset, size, etc). They are also in stock locally (NSW) and you'd likely actually get them at some stage after paying for them :angel:
