Hey guys ... the peeling clear coat has hit the embarrassing level. Best quote for a repaint of roof panel and bonnet is $1800. Someone suggested a wrap, rather than paint - does anyone in Perth have an idea who does a good and reasonable job on wraps?

Cheers.

Have you looked into Plasti Dip? It is DIY or there are trades that do it. Plenty of YouTube vids on it

Same here on my bonnet. Trouble with a wrap, if you don’t get rid of the clear coat, the wrap will look lumpy. If that’s not a worry then thumbs up.

I want to get my bonnet resprayed but I’ve guessed it would be around a grand.

No idea on Wrap though I did google and came up with some options.

G'day Jeffster ...

Yup. I'm aware it'll need sanding down to be effective, but I'm reluctant to hand it to any Tom, Dick or Harriet without a recommendation.

Cheers.

Like him or not, Andrew St Pierre White's wrap looked good on his Troopy he did earlier this year. He went to Signarama in Malaga from memory.

Whole car? I wonder what that costs.

I’ve often thought about this. Also seen the ASP-W Toyota wrap.

It seems very resistant to pin stripe scratching or am I wrong?
