Hi, Any suggestions for a good and reliable recovery hitch to be mounted in a mitch hitch. Will be used to recover a Disco 3 tdv6.[bigsmile1]
Bushranger? Adventure Kings? Hulk? Thunder?
Also recommendations for tow kit. Am considering Hayman Reece tongue and ball. Though like the look of the adjustable systems.

If you're going to get a "Normal" towing setup I'd still consider a DO35, or similar , as they have 360 degrees lateral rotation which means that in the event of a trailer/caravan roll over, the tug has a lot less chance of turning turtle as well. Pretty important at highway speed in my opinion. After having had DO35 for ages, I wouldn't even consider put a standard ball on a 2wd vehicle just for the safety factor.

No need to over think it , a rated shackle with hitch adapter is all you need. No benefit in a hr tongue over anything else.
