US voting machines

As many of you know, I have a brother lives in Houston. And they have an election coming up next week. In the USA, instead of state and/or national electoral commissions, voting at all levels is run by the county.

His local county (Harris County, surrounding Houston) uses computerised voting machines.

Any guesses what operating system they use? Windows 3.1!

It's probably more secure than Win 10!

The gerrymandering and voter manipulation there is staggering to me as an outsider.

That’s amazing. I suppose one way to look at it is “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. Or no wonder there is accusations of their voting systems being hacked! [emoji15]
