Had to turn around, go back and take a pic.
I did consider pointing out the wrongs.....but i figured they might not been keen on a constructive conversation.
I’m no angle but in view of the main road and representing a pretty big company.

It is the boots.
They need to take their boots off so the can grip it with their toes.

Qutie obvious.
Box in lower left is a "Trip Hazard".
Sky is gray so more chance of UV and no sun hats.
Roof on right is too low.
Two cartons in lower right near orange stand are levitating.

We used a purpose build cage with safety rails and a body harness when using a fork as a people lift. Also the forklift operator was always there not his lunch brake leaving the others in the cage unattended

No boots is an OH&S issue. Might get a splinter from the pallet.
On a serious note. About ten years ago I had a part time truck driving job which at the end of the run I had to wash the truck.
Where this took place was an unmanned yard so I had no help.
To get to the roof of the truck I would park the forklift with a pallet and then put a ladder to the pallet.
This was an OH&S issue at the time as I did not have a forklift licence.

Can't have been Qantas because there would have been two safety officers up there to watch them.

By rights fork should also be certified for the cage, tilt lockout and mast drop speed tested. Done a few in previous job, most don’t seem to bother tho..

In all seriousness if these guys actually work for Toll, their arses would be fired instantly if they are identified. Knowing their current CEO’s MO (personal opinion withheld) a safety breach of this magnitude would bring about instant dismissal.
Hope the pic doesn’t make it to his desk to be honest. ☹️

Ahh, then you haven't stood on pallets on a fork. They ain't that stable (I've watched as I've lifted blokes up on the fork)

Driving past again today i notice it’s a freight hub for at least six different freight companies......they could be 3rd Party repairers as well.

It is safer than just standing on the forks I suppose.

It's unlikely a meteor would hit, I would be more concerned with an earth tremor occurring or a sink hole opening up under them myself

Those Meteors are pretty hazardous, Lasers aren't much safer, either.

Ian, a place I worked for in the '80's caught "four cylinder fever" and put the sales reps in "four cylinder economy cars". What a joke. Sigmas were stuffed oil burners in 80,000 k's and used more fuel without a/c than Commodores (6 cyl) with. The reps from the crane company got Meteors. Totally unsuitable for rural use in Qld. After several dirt road rollovers the reps jacked up, went on strike, and refused to drive them.

I’ve had company vehicles for over 20 years now - I’ve never cared what I got, new, used, how many cylinders, etc. All company cars are good cars - they’re free and free to run. Personally I get the ****s with the reps that whine about what they get given. I’ve had some shockers over the years but I’ve never complained because at the end of the day a free car is a good car. A rollover means the driver wasn’t driving to conditions IMO - I’d get rid of the Rep, not the car.

Which then begs the question,, what does Scott know about the area [bigwhistle]
In concern with these sorts of incidents,, I’ve been waiting for years to see the so called “advertised” inspectors walk through our doors. Reckon he’d have a field day [bighmmm]

Totally agree.....the number of people that seem to dislike my choice of company car amazes me....
1. I don’t get a choice
2. They don’t have a company car
Mind boggling.......

I worked at a place for a few years , where management would call everyone to a meeting , tell us that a surprise workplace inspection was imminent, so spend the day getting the place sorted. Sure enough , next day a clean bill of health.

I couldn't understand the whingeing when I got to Canberra.
We had near new BT50's with the 3.2 or a couple of blokes had V6 Hilux's.
Fully fueled, personal use all good, we only had to fuel up if we left the rough approximation of Canberra.
How good is that!
Yet a couple of blokes just wouldn't stop whingeing and tried to rope me in.
"You only have a single cab, you're a senior tech/quasi management, you should have a dual cab, the young blokes should have the singles"
I couldn't give a stuff, other than the back seat is a great place to store stuff.
In the present job the boss apologised when I joined as it's a basic Hilux with 180,000km on it.
I love the 2.7 petrol, I have a ball punting it around the northern rivers.
It's just tiring on a trip as its a bucket load noisier than the BT and has no bloody cruise control! Let alone intermittent wipers or a heated rear screen....
Basic Toyotas are basic

One of my friends used to be a Telecom tech. I can tell you Gav that his work car would match your Dunnydoor.
