Off to Yass again

Off to Yass again in a few minutes. My son and d-i-l are off for a fortnight's cruise to NZ and back tomorrow, and I'll be looking after the kids. Their silver wedding is in a few days.

That's a compressed trip! I've heard of quick trips but a fortnight's trip condensed into 1 day must be a record.

I've always thought Yass should embrace it's name more fully. They should have the slogan "Show us Yass" on their tourism signs (Y'ass) [emoji23]

About 25 years ago, the tourism slogan on the side of their car was SSAYASS; sort of a palindrome.

A lot of people didn't like it.

Never met him, but he isn't stoopid and likes nice stuff.

Got here no issues, put them on the train to Melbourne to get the ship yesterday, got the kids to and from school, took the 8yo to girl guides last night - fell asleep in bed when I was planning to come on here!
