He was the cause of me getting a day off school. I was on the way to school when the word came down from a kid on the street that we had all been granted a holiday. Didn't bother to confirm that but took him at his word & buggered off home again. Well you would wouldn't you? One cannot doubt the veracity of these things when it comes to a free day off.
