Hi,
I'm after some suggestions for a good read over the break. Last good book I read was 'Narrow Road to the Deep North' but I also like a bit of a decent spy novel and exploring biography. Thinking about buying the latest Trump book 'Fear - Trump in the White House' or Michelle Obama's book.
Any suggestions??

Red sparrow series by Jason Matthews
Any book by Ben Sanders but his NZ and US series should be read in order.

Just purchased Anzac Sniper by Roland Perry - bio about LTGEN Stan Savige, and
The Bulldog Track by Peter Phelps - story of goldminers escaping south ahead of Jap actions in the Lae-Bulolo area of NG
I think I'll have a problem waiting until Christmas though :)

Dampier; A pirate of exquisite mind.
Not a new book, but big on exploring, and I loved it. What a man. I got mine by chance in a second hand bookshop.
An example:

One I found confronting, and inspiring, in equal amounts, is INFIDEL, by AYAAN HIRSTI ALI, my life. her life story from her traditional Muslim childhood, to her intellectual awakening in the Netherlands, to her life under armed guard in the West. She fought for the rights of women, and the reform of Islam, under constant threat, she refused to be silenced. Just a few of many in my library. edit I have to add this. In March 2005, she was named in TIME magazine as one of its one hundred "most influential people in the World today."
