anyone know the size of the bearing on the bottom idler on the tdi300 aircon belt, the one in the timing case cover i believe it is.
or is it a complete assembly?
mine has taken to choral reditions of a referree's whistle on heat.....

it isnt the adustable one it is the fixed one further down on the timing case or do they use the same bearing?

pretty sure it's a 6203 as well, Inc. Changed it out at the beginning of the year

naa, thats the main fan hub bearing. I had to change the whole flipping timing case back in January, then was made aware of those bearings about four weeks later...... :roll:

Just to be sure the tensioner pully bearing as rick130 says is the "6203" and not as I typed "6023". :oops:

it is a 6203 sealed bearing....
not too hard to get out with every thing in place if you have little hands https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Gday did you replace all 3? Ive found if one is dodgey the others will
soon go the same way. Thay are all 6203 and only cost about $6.50 + GST , so its cheep preventative maintenance.
Just did the wifes Discovery, 1 stuffed, 1 noisy, 1 OK.
