something on your system is probing ports I would suggest...
run Sophos Home Premium over it and see if something out of the ordinary turns up...

still running,,
up to 27 threats,,

could be but it isn't something I personally have seen and I use all sorts of vpns during the course of a month and use google for heaps of things
but you never know till you go digging :p

not sure if it makes any difference, but none of those "threats" are on C drive,,
all of them are many months old.
incisor

why do they have to be a on c drive to be a threat..
if they are something that can be loaded by something they could be anywhere, but if they are standalone things then they won't be the issue.
have you tried turning the vpn off to see if the messages go away ?

sounds like a hacked router
have a look at the dns settings in your router
reset your router then set it up again, if you can
update the router with the latest bios from the manufacturer if you can as well.

I'd like to see what said "trojans" actually are myself before passing judgement.

It's likely because of your VPN. all your searches are conducted via the VPN IP address. This is likely the same for all the other users the VPN provider services. When google sees lots of searches originating from the same IP address in a short space of time, they will throw this up to validate that a person is performing the search rather than a robot.

Finished after 57 odd hours,,, ( :Thump:)
30 trojans, all able to be deleted.
Has this fixed the issue?
wait one ---

Betcha it is. Log out of VPN and try a different browser and see if it still does it.

I too have been getting these over the last couple of weeks.
I thought it was because I started searching gun stuff.
Express VPN as well.
duckduckgo still works but I'll try changing VPN locations.

Noticed the same thing last week, my suspicions are pointing to express VPN. Switch it off and it runs fine....Back on and I’m a suspect robot...
