I use the form and have learnt to only do one or two at a time. Still takes forever though.

if u resize the pics before u upload them it heaps quicker!! I changed all my pics to 800x600 (good size) and i can upload 14pics under 10 min and that was when my cable connection was capped to dial up speed
my 2 cents

Dearest Zook,
Form is easy but reducing the size of the photo to 800x600 before uploading is preferred by the forum master (Inc) regardless of the method.

Yep FORM is best and fastest, if you need to resize use 4wdlinks as it's the same as the aulro setup.
And you can resize the photos in the aulro gallery too you upload into the gallery to the size you want with the photo action option under each thumbnail, click on the down arrow and go to resize photo https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ easy as.

I thought this was going to be rhythym method vs chemical https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Ok, I didn't really.
I used the applet once and it was really quick. Took about 4 minutes to upload 40 or so pics.
OK It didn't really. In fact it didn't work at all.
It TOLD me it was working but with no actual result.
So I tend to use FORM myself.
And definitely resize the pics before upload. Makes upload time much shorter AND will be appreciated by those with dial up when you paste one of those pics into a thread.

I use irfanview and the plugins pack from http://www.irfanview.com/
batch convert all pics to 800x600 jpg at 60 on quality scale
in the gallery i use the small applet to select what to upload if i have more than 10 to upload. it takes longer to load but works better for big runs. DO NOT USE IT IF YOU HAVENT DO THE 800x600 THINGO!
also, you need java installed to get it to work.
select all the pics you wish to upload and let em go. when it says it is done you need to refresh your gallery page to see the new uploads.
PLEASE DO NOT DO MASS UPLOADS IN PEAK HOURS!!!!

If the gallery is ever upgraded to Gallery2.x, then you will be able to actually mount your gallery as a network device under XP. I use this on www.aussiejeepimages.com and it works a treat.
