I am in the middle of servicing the 2a. This afternoon, I needed to check the oil in the overdrive, so I lean in the LH door, lift the middle cushion out and put it on the driver's seat, lift the centre hatch out and put it on the driver's floor. Then lift the tool tray out, resting it on the LH seat cushion while I change my grip to put it on the LH floor.

Bad move! As I found out when I put it on the floor.

Below the centre tool tray is the front universal joint on the rear prop shaft. Last service, that universal joint was liberally greased. A significant part of the excess grease was transferred to the bottom of the tool tray as a result of centrifugal force. And now I have transferred about half of it to the LH seat cushion!

I'm not sure why this hasn't happened before, possibly because I have never put it on the cushion before. (The overdrive oil was above the mark - I think some must have transferred from the transfer case, although its level was so close to full I did not bother to put any more in. But the reservoir in the overdrive is very small.)
