You should have a "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard. Press that, then paste into "Paint" and save as a jpeg onto your desktop then go from there. Thats how it works for me anyway,

Hi seqfisho, haven’t you ever done that to a mate or fellow workers computer, get a screen grab of their desktop and then placed it over their desktop.

Drives them nuts, trying to click on the icons and nothing happens, then they pull out the manuals or do a forced quit.

But they rarely workout whats going on.

The hardest thing you have to do is keep a straight face while scratching your head and pretending you too don’t have a clue.

You all have fun now.

Evening Ferno,

Some good free software recommended by Uncle Inc:

http://www.irfanview.com/

I spent a little bit of money on "Quick Screen Capture"

http://www.etrusoft.com/

this allows you to select the part of the screen you want to capture.

There is always the old "Alt-Print screen keys" routine and paste into a graphic software package. Bit clunky though.

Ferno,

In that case, take a photo of your desktop with a box brownie, take it to the chemist to get processed, then send it via the Post Master Generals Office to Inc.

Paint will be there somewhere. If you can't find it then you can paste it into a word document too.. what you're supposed to do with it then I dunno  Maybe irfanview (linked above) will allow you to paste into it... give that a go.

Alternatively just use the file that you have set as your background. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Love those codes, 'fatal error'...

Very Monty Python: "He's not dead, yet."

Some one should do 'em for abuse, personal and psychological and, err, fatal....:D:D:D

Nope- failed again Mate try photobucket, takes 1 minute to set up, uploads very quickly and instead of having what you have there ( like I have had for ages) you can instead have your pics come out like this, and all you do is copy from the site and paste here........sorry about the pic folks

You need to post your photo to a web site such as mentioned or Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/) and grab the www address there and paste it as URL into the little yellow square with sun and mountain in the post editor (insert image).

Sometimes I use this as my desktop wallpaper. It's the TXA towers on Mt Lofty (CH9 on the left, CH7&10 on the right) viewed from about half-way up the ABC tower about 07:30 - I found myself in the right place at the right time with a camera!https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2007/10/73.jpg

You generate HTML and IMG code, copy the link for message board and paste that:)

Put it on the AULRO gallery (upload), then you open and there is a copy to clipboard tab at the bottom, click this, open post you want pic in, click on little box with mountain in it above text box, right click paste and then ok and all should appear in your post.

Mate as Rovercare has stated, once the pic is uploaded you are given a few options, right click on the IMG option.........its the bottom option, then paste here.......Voila :D

No - I saw your thumbnail - opened it - saw and copied the URL and pasted it in the URL address of the little picture box with the grey mountains, yellow background and sun which is in the message reply menu box.

What you could do is:
1. upload an image into attachments at AULRO
2. you go in and open that image in a new window.
3. copy the URL from your web browser of that opened, uploaded pic.
4. make a new post and then paste the URL into the nice little yellow picture icon (hover your cursor over it and it says 'insert image')

Bingo...

Hey Stevo....

Maybe you should replace that desktop with the words

SMOKING KILLS

Just to keep you on track and remind you why in the dark moments...I've got the ciggie packet next to me to remind me of that. The desktop is a motivator that I will need to be fit to do the labouring that will be required........and to be around to enjoy it. Let me know if my response was too long winded or needs to be edited :p,
