Mechanics in Sydney - NOT KLR etc

Hello,

I thought i saw a post on this and have spent a good few hours searching to find it.

I'm after a trust worthy mechanic, back street, that can work on my 4x4 Perentie doing a few minor/major odd jobs as well as being able to ask a few questions about upgrading/fixing (with a view to work).

Does anyone know of anyone is the Inner West area of Sydney.

KLR are a great option but are 1, quite far from me and 2, fully booked :)

Not exactly inner west, but I can highly recommend Stuart at S & A Motors at Mt Kuring-gai (02) 94570675. Stuart's daily drive is a Perentie, so he has real world experience with them.

You haveGraeme Coopers at Sydenham, or if you want to venture up the beaches, Ayers Automotive at Brookvale. There's also ATV automotive at Fivedock, they do a lot of work on Landys as well as lesser brands.

Range Parts, Peter De Quaant (Sp?) at Toongabbie is good for a lot of stuff. He works in his back yard, only on Landies, and has a huge stock of parts. THere's not many in Sydney I trust but Peter is one of the few that I do.
