Hi all,
Picked up a second hand TJM Outback bull bar. Was trying to fit it yesterday and had a couple of issues.
I suspect I may be missing some parts - notably some type of captive nuts for the two bolts that drop down on each side.
Was wondering if anyone had a copy of the fitting instructions?

Sounds like you missing the plate that the bolts bolt into.
It’s rectangle piece of flat bar with two tapped holes. One for each side.
I assume you have removed the bumper therefore would have thought it would use the same plates as a bull bar. Although I’ve never removed a bumper bar.

Ben should be able to supply the plate as well.
Or you could make them yourself
Or Murray @ rijidij off road would have the nut plates as well.

That's what I thinking - The original setup clips onto the bumper bar so it is held in place when you fit everything. However the new bull bar is about much thicker and the clip is not wide enough. Stupid system - should have been designed to allow access from underneath.
Tempted to just tack weld a couple of nuts straight onto the bull bar!
