Seriously thinking of applying though... 👍. Not sure if I’d pass the medical, or physical exams or the psych test, but be interesting to go through the process. I’m much better in cold weather than I am in the heat, but this would be a whole different level cold. 😊

Hmmm, it starting to appeal, current temperature here is 39.6 with high humidity.Antartica is humid today too, but the maximum recorded temperature was 6.7 degrees celcius. So you can put some clothes on and cool off at the same time. Glorious.

I had an opportunity to go down there for 6 months, 20 years ago. Couldn't work it with two babies at home but I would have loved to do it.

Pfft, a bit of a shower, five minutes of wind and it was all over. A second shower is just passing over as I type .

Certainly blew strongly here,with a mm or two of rain,lots of lightning and thunder.

It did blow over SWMBO's xmas tree she spent all day putting up and decorating with this and that[bigsad][biggrin]
