147118147119I have this metal bracket that I am unable to find home for. Can any one help. It is on the main +cable joining battery to alternator-starter.

Yep, easy one...

It goes down on the edge of the metal curved guard. You will see just below the expansion tank a small course threaded pin, the whole in the bracket goes over it and there is a plastic nut that screws down. Its purpose it to make sure the main harness cable doesnt get chaffed through by the edge of the inner guard.
