For the last 2 or 3 days, the "View Posts Since Last Visit" option on the forums hasn't been working for me. I get a blank screen of articles (header and side options are all there though).

If I look at each forum, I can see the new articles.

Anyone else having this issue?

works fine for me with ie, firefox and opera under xp, feebsd and OSX

you may need to flush your cookies or something fellas.... i havent altered anything that would affect that at this end....

what isp do you both use, maybe a transperant proxy problem ?

I don't use a proxy.

My PC runs XP (SP2) with the bog standard IE6 that comes with XP. My ISP is TPG via broadband.

I'll try deleting cookies etc and see if that helps.
Tks

Interestingly, it is playing up at work. As soon as I log in I see all the forums with unread posts. I hit the new posts button or on any forums and they are all marked as read. After that any new posts are kept flagged but it's annoying. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ That is under XP and IE.

Interestingly Safari on OSX is working perfectly. For a while there it was the other way around 8O

it will be your firewall or your isp's transperant proxy / firewall screwing with things as that feature relies on cookies.... .  :?:

your bandwidth is being screwed with i would reckon in my infinite wisdom.

yup I get the same problem... but only at work.
At home, not issue - it even picks up topics I know I read during the day at work and displays them as unread...

I have the same problem, I thought it was me

Bog std XP SR2, with b/band and big puddle, I'll flush my cookies and see if that helps. I also don't get any mails tell me there have been some replies. Now maybe that is me, I'll check my profile

The problem with the lack of mails to the posts I mentioned above is that the address has changed on the top of the mail, and it was being picked up as spam. Hopefully that has changed https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

As per original question and reply from Incisor, I tried deleting my cookies and it came good again for about 3 days.

However, I've gone back to having the same problem again (as described nicely by Captain_Rightfoot).

My Firewall is Norton's, and no settings have been changed before/after deleting the cookies, so I think it is independent of the firewall.

I don't mind deleting all the cookies again, but it means I have to re-enter all my passwords for the sites I visit, which is a pain.

Any other thoughts on what I can look at to solve this?

Can I just delete just the AULRO cookie? Where would I find it?

Why does it go "bad" again after working OK for a few days?
