I feel like throwing some more money at the old girl!
So I thought that she could do with some sliders as I feel like getting a bit more adventurous
These from APT look ok and easy to fit.
Land Rover Rock Sliders (https://aptoffroad.com.au/land-rover-rock-sliders).
Also tempted by the Mulgo option but fixing details aren't apparent
Any direct experience with the APT.

Personally I would go apt, Ben makes quality gear, and is great to deal with.
I have no experience with mulgo though.

Both great, but I'd consider Kingpin Design and Fab. Also easy to fit and look better than the aforementioned.

x2 agree....
He has a few different designs/prices to select from and I've got a set on my Def110 (slider/step combo) and I reckon they're great.... plus he's a member on here (if not, then use to be)

I have the Mulgo ones on my 130, they are not the greatest quality, I would not buy again.
Though I haven't had any experince with the APT ones, I have the APT steering guard and it is very well made. Ben is a super nice guy and very passionate about landrovers, quite pleasent to deal with.
Cheers,
Stan.

I have APT and found them a nice fit and well made.
I haven’t had to use them for intended purpose yet but can say they protect against parking Hyundai and Mazda very well.

I have Mulgo....I was going to make my own but Daniel had a set on the bench when I had the conversion done.....like all the others mentioned they all do the job as intended, I’ve jacked all four corners of Mulgos and they don’t move. I do need to fit thicker checker plate to the tops....
King Pin do look nice and Bens as also quality.

Ben is great to deal with. He owns a d1, d2, d4, deefers, series. He does not release products unless he is happy having tested the gear on his own trucks. He will customise for you also. He did custom sliders for my D2 and the same cost as his normal design. Cheers

I've got the APT. Some how they were out of spec on the distance between the mounting points. There was a bit of to-and-fro to find a solution. I wan't happy with the process. They are well made, though.

How about these from Landybitz. I have them, and am very happy. They are very heavy duty.

I'm exhuming this thread as I've been nudged into action, or at least the skirt under the doors has been nudged. This is entirely due to carelessness on the part of the driver and a stationary object.
So at the end of the day the Terrafirma rock sliders with tree bars have arrived: Terrafirma Rock Sliders with Tree Bars suitable for Defender 110 TF810 | eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/274936746231?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&itemid=274936746231&targetid=1278430613016&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9071703&poi=&campaignid=12502547511&mkgroupid=123612187918&rlsatarget=pla-1278430613016&abcId=9300512&merchantid=7602252&gclid=Cj0KCQiAsqOMBhDFARIsAFBTN3coXWdMCKsdSRqAv_N3 vkgJKFsMqhMYt-63m-m0P_XkT8FWtgm6k6kaAkLiEALw_wcB)
Installation is next. No instructions with the gear but a request for such has been sent off. YouTube helps Rockslider Terrafirma *ENG* - YouTube (https://youtu.be/K-GZyTeD_-I)
I'll document the install.
