Hi,

I just sold a SIII LWB roof to a buyer north of Brisbane.

The roof has the sides removed and they're lying inside the roof with the upper tailgate. Secured with wrachet straps and carboard packing, wrapped in bubblewrap.

285cm x 145cm x 40cm

The cheapest quote I can get from Bayswater to Lawnton is $605 and this goes up to $960+

Can anyone point me in the direction of a more economical courier?

Put a notice on the board of a truckstop. An owner/driver will do a better deal, especially for Charlie Ash.

Have you tried E-go couriers? Usually their depot-depot pricing is pretty reasonable.

thanks, they won't take anything over 35kg unless I have a forklift at each end.

Find a local business that regularly deals with freight of this size and ask them if they can get a decent quote for you. I used my nearest Bursons store once and they were very good.

Did you check depot to depot?

Ive moved 2t boxes before with e-go and not had a problem with loading gear as they have a fork there.

If you not doing depot to depo they wont touch it if you dont have the mhe set up.o

Same experience here. No issue with weight depot to depot as long as they can pick it up with a forklift.

i have used E-go many times to ship parts all over the country with no trouble price is compatible with most for door to door my biggest item was a jeep engine to Wagga on a skid I used an engine crane to load it. depot to depot is cheaper

Hodgo
