water leak below drivers side windscreen?

Hi all
have recently noticed water leak on garage floor, and was coming out of the center under plate below windscreen roughly.
Then found water leaking down onto bolt shown coming from above? sorry about pics. Its seems roughly coming down from drivers wiper area?
Any ideas ? I have had no alarms come up as yet.
Its from a 2014 discovery.

I replaced the fuel filter a week ago using a mates house who has a pit a short drive away.

When working under the car I also had clear water dripping down in region of gearbox which I took to be air conditioning condensation. It drips into the flexible guard plate under gearbox. In my case a small stone was semi-plugging the drain hole in the plate so a collection of water spilt when plate was removed to access the fuel filter.

As a matter of interest - when fossicking under the car with a torch looking for any problems I noticed a few leaves protruding from inside the front wheel arch (rear of the tyre). This is where the windscreen drains out through the side drains under the bonnet.

Anyhow turns out there was ten years of gum leaves and box tree nuts in there resulting in a large pile of forrest released from each side. No sign of any corrosion or damage and it was all very dry.

In the end I had to release the bottom plate screw and lower screw in wheel arch to open it up and get everything out.

Something to look out for even though our car is mainly garaged.

Dunno whether that will solve the leak but I am hoping.
But wow look what come out of both sides of wheel arches!
Was full right to top of wheel arch.

Wow. That is 100% the amount of debris I had. Could have been identical photos!!

Definitely not related to the drip because I’m sure the bonnet drains are so big water gets through even with leaves.

I’m betting your leak is innocent water condensation from the evaporator in your dashboard. More obvious in hot weather.

I look forward to many more photos of removed debris to come.

The AC condensate drain definitely comes out of the holes in the transmission guard as per your first photo and as mentioned by perthdisco.
I can't tell where the bolt is located in your other photos but it looks like rust under the bolt, perhaps indicating regular stream of water in that spot.
This would by likely if it's in the line of where condensate always runs.

Yes its a concern about the rust mark and can see water running down to it. The transmission guard water mark shows where the bolt has been dripping down ,but i have no idea what its called . Will keep an eye on it and see if water still leaking tomorrow.

Something to look out for even though our car is mainly garaged.

I spotted the same when replacing the mudguards front and rear. The leaves etc in there had caused the mudflap brackets to rust out. Internal paint of the guards was fine, cleaned it all out and sprayed some fish oil in there just in case.
