Yes, I know, done to death, but can't find an answer to my question.
Mine screeched, was cleaned out and worked well for ages.
During a beach run, it started screeching again, I guess full of sand so I wasn't too worried.
After a hosing at home, it worked again for a bit, but then starting acting up progressively more often. I hadn't removed the bungs and flushed at this stage which is probably partly to blame.
Anyhow, after applying - screech, releasing and again applying - screech and releasing, it has stopped making any engagement noises, both mechanical or electrical and faults out.
Various threads have suggested the actuator, but others have suggested re-engaging the cables by doing a physical disengagement.
Or is there a fuse or link that's possibly blown.
Cct diagram suggests there is but I haven't time to look yet.
Thoughts?
Cheers
