Hi all, not sure what section to post in but it is concerning a defender.
Im looking for 4wd insurer recommendations that will do agreed value on a Defender. A few I have rang so far have said can't do agreed value anymore as my defender is now over 10 years old( is a nov 2006 build TD5).

Shannons again, AND they will be open to (sensible/evidenced) debate about what that agreed value will be.

Yep, Shannons here too. Just insured the Jag today - Agreed Value about $10K higher than market value for that model. Easy as.
My 101, RRC and Old Viscount Caravan are also all insured with them - All agreed values, youngest is 32 years old, oldest is 50 years old.

I'm with Club 4x4, quite happy with them. Agreed value of $30000 for my 96 Defender 110 which covers accessories & mods. I have made a claim too, when a taxi rear ended the Defender bending the rear cross member. Long story short they allowed me to choose the repairer and all was fixed.

Shannons.
Took the car to the local LR dealer who put value on a letter head. Not sure if I even had to send it to the insurer.
Ended up insuring our other car (Subaru Forester) with them too. Still cheaper.
