Fair enough....I use heat shrink tube a bit long and pinch the end together while its still warm, as many layers as I think it needs.

Thank the Lord !!...I woke up breathing again this morning...Just how many chances do we get??? https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Richard,

What's that thing wrapped in foam? Is it something you added or is it from LR?

I don't have anything like it in my engine bay.

Chris

Thats the self destruct in case I actually get stuck and the only vehicle available to help is a Toyota.

Seriously it is a plug in the wiring harness for whatever, when a person is wealthy enough to buy a HSE or perhaps SE which has the gizmo the the plug supplies the power to.............................I assume.

Hi Richard, looks good.

Tell me, from our discussions I think you were going to run some cable to the rear.

Did you and if so how much work is involved.

Cheers.

Yes I did, I ran a 6mm cable which now terminates at the secondary outlet for the smart Charger to the rear plug via the top of the chassis rail. Took a little time.......around 2 hours plus I replaced the rear plug as the LR wiring had a couple of wires included which I couldnt locate the source and the back of the plug was filled with silicone.
I also included the electric brake wire with the charging wire.
