Where can I buy a new padded old fashioned headset /earphones with about 1.5m of lead with stereo plug? I'm not after a set with super duper bass or, 'extremely suitable for gaming'. All I want is to plug it into my record player or pc and listen to music without disturbing other people. The one that came with a Walkman in about 82 just packed up. I started looking on e-bay but after about three pages gave up. Thank you.

I have these ... use them all day every day at work to listen to music and block out open plan office noise.

Don't be turned off by the gaming positioning in the marketplace ... they are very similar to my old mans Pioneer 'Mickey Mouse' headphones.

The mic is easily unplugged and put in the bottom drawer or trash can.
