Found this beauty in an auto museum in enzed last Christmas.
I thought it was an early series until I read the blurb

Anyone know anything about these critters? ever seen or driven one?

your right they do look very s1ish x defender with that nice window, ..
they are a New Zealand idea that was made in the old cheq if memory serves me,..

they could have been a great thing but as allways the wheels fell of the wagon,

Yeah the wheels fell off, no doubt due to the :"independent suspension on all 4 wheels"

That and the truck is 1/2 commi,.. During the war I bet there was gov agents out side of every dealership writeing down the names of people in grey shirts or red socks and ties as they showed interest in the 1/2 commi tractor,..
Might be why they were only used as blood boxes in the war,.. Neither side quiet knew who they belonged to, and left it alone,
