Can anyone help with instructions on how to remove the upper glove box lid in my 2016 D4 please.

I haven’t  tried but I think it’s the same as the lower one; slightly depress the levers on the side until they release from their groove, then lower the lid.

Unfortunately no side levers. The lid is spring loaded to close itself, I suppose to keep out of the way of passenger airbags, and appears to be a completely different setup from the bottom one. Thanks for the reply anyway. Cheers

I gather you dont have a service manual. It is detailed there but goes over 3 pages and I am unsure how to post it up.  I might be able to scan pages. Pm me if you want.

OK, so I’ve decided not to mount the iPad with a RAM mount in the top glove box but rather to use a suction mount on the windscreen and over the top of the dashboard but clear of the airbag.
  
the parts should arrive in a couple of days so will post a pic once I get it sorted.
