Hey all
does anyone know how to diagnose a creak from the front end?
About a year ago I replaced the lower control arms and D bushes so perhaps the upper now? It’s creaking when the body rolls from one side to the other
any tips would help

A whine from the passenger side has been diagnosed previously [emoji1]. Common on longer trips.
(Suggest replace sway bar rubber bushes for creaking)

I got the advanced factors LCA kit, I assume polyurethane but can you tell the difference by eye sight?
Re. Sway bar, there a way to check definitively, is what’s the way to test the sway bar?

Re. Sway bar, there a way to check definitively, is what’s the way to test the sway bar?Disconnect drop pins and if noise still there it's not the sway bar. Easy to do with wheels still on.
Suspect the LCA bushes though if urethane.

Then why not get shot of your passenger & leave them home? Job done.[smilebigeye]

Poly's are coloured so will stick out like dogs balls.

Had a quick peak
the sway bar has black rubber D bushes which look to be in good condition
the links (pins) from the sway bar were new a year ago and the rubber looks good on both ends
it’s hard to tell what happening with the upper and lower control arm bushes, they are mostly concealed in the joint
will jack it up up on the weekend and have another good look

I just had this on mine aster replacing the ait suspension struts and bag, LCA's hade been done by previous over 15000k ago so i knew it wasn't them,
It was the sway bar links always creaking when the body rolled over, replaced with after market ones and it was back a day later, found out the after marked ones where stuffed in the ball joint
Put in genuine ones and now good as gold
