Are there many people watching this? I'm realy enjoying it and have been watching for a while. they are onto the later "county" episodes now. Last night was the John Stuart story.

Does anyone know what happened to his QLD reg county, 577AZU?

Sorry... PVR = Personal Video Recorder. This term relates to a digital receiver that has been coupled with a hard disk to enable recording of shows on the hard disk. We love ours https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I don't know too much about this site but it looks to have a bit of info on them. Ours is the Strong 5390.

By the way, Bush Tucker Man isn't in widescreen unlike 95% of all programs these days https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I haven't watched the one I've recorded yet, but I think it's the one where he's still in the army.

If you do a search back throught the old probably archived posts I did one on Les and his county. its now owned by a gent who lives at Tewantin. I wont post his details here for security reasons but I have written a couple of letters to him. Hes not interested in selling it yet. Hes using it for its intended purpose to trek through Oz. He is aware of its history though so im sure it is in good hands. I have several photos of it somewhere that I took about two years ago. It still looks exactly the same. Thats what caused me to come to an emergency stop when my wife saw it parked in his driveway.
cheers

You could borrow the DVDs from the local library and then burn a copy.

I went up to my local library this arvo - the 2 disc dvd was checked out, someone beat me to it!! - so I borrowed his video with the first 4 episodes on it. Also borrowed a couple of his books on stories of survival back in the settlement days. Just read about the cannibal convict down in Tasmania. I remember watching that series. Anyway, I have something to read now when we head down to Jindabyne and Tumut next week for a little getaway!!

Got this off the ABC2 website for anyone interested.
