EDIT: Resolved. Found this under the bonnet:
149033
MAF sensor electrical connection left unplugged after changing the air filter element.
Our MY12 D4 2.7L TDV6 went in for a RWC this morning and failed due to rear passenger window tint being too dark (4% when should be 20% maximum), loose spare wheel (just have to wind the winch up a bit apparently) and the Check Engine Light appeared when they tried to drive it into their workshop (hadn't shown itself prior on the 40km journey home a few days ago).
A scan with the IID Tool provided:
L319 - Discovery 4 2012
Vehicle scanned on 08-03-2019 10:54
Using IIDTool BT V3.0 B2643
BCM-Body Control
U0214-00 (28) Lost communication with the remote function actuation
( on 03-03-2019 14:39:06 at 153846 km )
FCDIM-Front Control
U2101-00 (0F) Control module configuration incompatible
PCM-Engine Diesel 2.7L
P0100-36 (2F) Mass or volume air flow circuit - Frequency modulation/pulse width modulation failure - signal frequency is too low
P0113-17 (2F) Intake air temperature sensor 1 - circuit high input - General electrical failure - circuit voltage above threshold
With the engine still running, I cleared these and rescanned and the following remained:
L319 - Discovery 4 2012Vehicle scanned on 08-03-2019 10:56
Using IIDTool BT V3.0 B2643
FCDIM-Front Control
U2101-00 (0F) Control module configuration incompatible
PCM-Engine Diesel 2.7L
P0113-17 (2F) Intake air temperature sensor 1 - circuit high input - General electrical failure - circuit voltage above threshold
I cleared these and following a 5km drive I rescanned:

Using IIDTool BT V3.0 B2643
FCDIM-Front Control
U2101-00 (0F) Control module configuration incompatible
PCM-Engine Diesel 2.7L
P0113-17 (2D) Intake air temperature sensor 1 - circuit high input - General electrical failure - circuit voltage above threshold
Anyone able to tell me more about the 'intake air temperature sensor 1'?
There were also some key/unlocking/locking faults which I assume are a seperate issue so have not quoted above and have posted separately in https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-3-and-4-a/269365-my12-d4-individual-doors-not-locking-unlocking.html#post2890190
