Now, i was always told not to count my chickens before the eggs hatched, but stuff it.

Ingall is going to win back to back. (touching wood) https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

He is now leading the championship (even if its only by a single point).

But what a weekend, a top weekend off racing. I was ****ed off to find on sunday morning that 10 had started the telecast of saturdays race 1hr early, as if 3:10am wasnt inconvenient enough they stuffed me up by putting the telecast on at the same time as northern NSW when we get Southern NSW 10. Oh well the showed the race today anyway so it was all good.

Bowe had a nasty prang, to the point where the race had to be stopped to replace the safety rail. Matt

I wont disagree with you there Mahn. If a championship contender is taken out of contention it will be in a reverse grid race. Even though the reverse grid races are worth half the points of the other races incurring serious damage in the reverse grid race can mean not starting race 3 which is bad.

All drivers need to do is keep out of trouble to win the championship, the reverse grid races will do the rest. I think it was murphy who said at the end of last years season that if someone had finished 7th at every round they would have won the championship. Consistency will win this years championship and Russell is alread showing he can do it again. Bring it on, i cant wait. Matt

Yes he does, both he and Skaife did well. Russell has always been good at coming through the field as qualifying as been a self confessed problem in the past, he got it right on the weekend though. Matt

I still think its to early to call. Good luck to Russell but I think this will be the toughest season for many years.

Skaife is back on the pace again, Lowdnes is still fast ( and got ripped off on the weekend IMHO).

Hey to be honest as much as I am a Holden man just bring on the racing, I love watching this series.

Good to see one of the youngsters (Mark Winterbottom) making a race of it. Second https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Yes both the FPR cars went well, but thats two of the younger guys to get a placing ( Wincup and Winterbottom).

This series is only going to get harder to pick winners
