Hi guys!

I have just moved out bush 100kms west of Coffs Harbour and have cracked my rim on my 275 40ZR 20 106W Rims and am looking for options to replace the lot with something better for off-road use.
Can anyone please give me some options or advice in regards to what would be best for this please?..

I would rather use OEM if possible and have found a few options on Gumtree but am unsure if they will fit and am not really keen on dropping $2500 without being sure!
I have found a nice deal on a rims and tyre package secondhand which are Nitto Grapplers 285/50 20 with OEM rims see post here - Land Rover LR4 black edition wheel set. 5x | Wheels, Tyres & Rims | Gumtree Australia Surf Coast - Anglesea | 1210053981 (https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/anglesea/wheels-tyres-rims/land-rover-lr4-black-edition-wheel-set-5x/1210053981)

They look amazing and are pretty much exactly what i am looking for but am unsure if they will fit!

Kind regards,

Josh Pritchard

At 20" if they fit a D4 they will fit a 2008 RRS.

285/50R20 will rub on the chassis behind the front wheels with the steering turned but you may be able to get away with them by increasing the caster a little to pull the wheels forwards.

New 285/50R20 Nittos rubbed too badly on my brother's 2008 RRS for him to consider that they were usable.

Then the same issue will occur with a D4 unless it has been modifed as you suggest above.

So Josh would need to clarify with the seller if any modifications have been made to the D4 to get them on.

Cheers again for the replies guys!

I'm not too strapped to go messing around with mods so i may just go to a tyre shop and see what aftermarket they can do for me with some AT's for now. Seems like the safest bet..

Kind regards,

I've got a set of as-new D4 alloys with as-new Goodyear Duratracs on them. 255/55R19. They've just come off my '08 RRS as I fitted 18s. PM me if interested. But note that I'm in Vic...

I've have a set of as-new 2013 RRS alloys with as-new Goodyear Execellance on them (80 to 90%). 275/40R20 at a good price. PM me if interested. Note that I'm in Bribie Island QLD but will be in Maclean for Easter

>>the lot with something better for off-road use

I'd be going 18's or 17s.. I think the GOE 17" rims will fit?

I know they're not LR ones... but yeah not interested in 20" especially for offroad.. 19" not great also..
