I know they want to leave Europe, but this is ridiculous.

I was once on a flight to Adelaide and while taxing out to the runway, the Pilot announced 'Welcome to this mornings flight to Sydney' - we all looked at each other a bit puzzled and one of the Stewardesses ran up to the cockpit. The plane 'pulled over' and sat for 15 minutes before an announcement 'Sorry for the delay - welcome to this mornings flight to Adelaide'
Always wondered if the Pilot got on the wrong plane that morning... :)

Reminds me of the old comedy recording by either Shelley Burman or Bob Newhardt which went something like this. "Welcome to Mrs. Miller's Barn Door Construction Coy. and Airline's inaugural flight to Hawaii. Any of you guys back there been to Hawaii before? Anyone know what Hawaii looks like?"

"Oh, you said Dusdeldorf, not Edinburgh. Duh!"
Bet the person who did the paperwork is looking for a job.
