Aftermarket intercooler.

I drive a 2001 TD5 110 Extreme with A/C. Just purchased a Serck high performance intercooler for same. Have taken some measurements before installing and it looks like the intercooler will be up against the slam panel struts due to its increased thickness. Has anyone else encountered this issue and what can be done to get the cooler into position? Cheers.

My larger intercooler was an Ebay special, but I do remember getting the jigsaw & files to work in there. As long as they clear the radiator & inner guards, anything is do able.
