Looks like I have something to do this weekend.
Will report back on progress.
Land rover Discovery 3/LR3 Front power output panel upgrade Tuff-Rok | eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Land-rover-Discovery-3-LR3-Front-power-output-panel-upgrade-Tuff-Rok/293001390097'ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649)

The installed photo is from their ebay site, so hopefully mine will look the same.

Dead easy install.
1. Remove trim around the dash by pulling off at bottom, and angling up to remove from top heater vents.
2. Remove and unplug the heater controls - 4 screws.
3. Remove lower ashtray panel by removing 4 screws and unplugging the connectors behind the 2 existing power outlets. Then PULL hard to get it out.
4. Wire up the back of the new power panel - sorry, no photos, but you need about 12 female spades and 4 male spades. Its just a daisy chain linking all the (+) connectors and the (-) neg connectors.
5. Remove cig light globe, and tape connector over to prevent any chance of a short.
6. Plug the panel into the 2 existing sets of female plugs left over from removal of 2 existing power outlets. I plugged 3 outlets on the new panel into 1 plug, and the other 2 into the second plug. No real reason other than to not overload anything.
7. Turn on ignition, and test everything.
8. Screw everything back together.
All in all, with a beer and a sandwich it took 2 hours.
I have a GPS and dashcam which need cig lighter plugs, and a couple of other things that need USB, so this panel worked out just fine.

Just to simplify the wiring up.

And I took this from the Tuff rok facebook page for wiring up the plugs - note this only has 3 of the 5 plugs fitted.

Settle down.

You can wire it in so many ways depending on your fit out choice.

Main battery, auxiliary etc.

Ok. Btw welcome to Aulro.

So you have, or want to get a panel, what do you want to use it to do?

On all the time? On with ignition? A combination of both?
