I can't believe how lucky I am, but I'm off to Fraser on Monday for a week with some mates of mine. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ The girls are staying home on this trip, so nappies will make way for beer https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

The plan is to get up there Monday and go up to the Akura camping zone. We have chosen this as you can camp at the foot of quite large dunes (this is important).

We intend to tour in the morning, and fly our models in the afternoon https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Hence the need for the big hill behind our camp. I can't wait https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Does anyone know any bottle shops with a good range of beer in tinnies Northside Brisbane?

Well all I'm of course back in the land. We had a good time, but not that great. We went up there on the Monday, and I phoned in Tuesday morning and my 2.5yo daughter had landed up in hospital with a respitry virus. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

So, my wife was saying stay (but she really meant come home) and I was worrying about everyone back home so i didn't have a great time. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ We did end up coming home a couple of days early though.

Anyway, we tried to make the best of it. We camped up north next to Akura Creek I think it was. It was a great campsite and we chose it because we could walk up the hill and fly our planes. That was pretty cool. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Unfortunately the wind wasn't ideal until we were going home, but we did manage to squeeze in a couple of flights.

The campsite was great, and it was quite quiet there most of the time. There was only a bit of passing traffic, and once it was dark and up till about 8am you barely saw a car. The rangers didn't even bother to visit all week.

And we had dingos running around everywhere... even doing the wild thing near the tent... I tell you that wakes you up https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Mate hope your daughter is feeling better, I know that feeling of not being there when my children were in Perth and one of them got 3rd degree burns and I was over here in QLD. That aside seeing the pics only makes me wish the months would rattle by before I am back over there with the club. Looks like a good time was had,
