Thought people would be interested to know that on an Anzac trip to Mt Dissapointment with 6 Patrols and one Hilux, my Rangie out drove all but two LWB , locked Patrols on Simexs and managed to do all the tracks without any recovery (or damage) Not bad for a 74 model hey.

Good video. Always a pleasure to give the Nissan blokes the one finger salute as you walk climbs they have to redline to make it

It really shows how good the classic Rangie is.
Would be interesting and also funny to see how a '74 Patrol or Toyo would have coped.
Great stuff.

Yeh, that was the trip. Not sure if Rhys had his own winch or was using someone elses. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I was up that way on Saturday but didn't do Ellis or Cummings, not my fault, I was real keen but my mate with a Patrol doesn't have a locker in the front and got a bit scaredy. Next time you guys do a hard trip, could I/we come, I have no winch but my mates got one lol

Come up to Townsville FNQ, we got enough mud at the moment to share with the whole country.
