Hi All,

There are three holes on the floor to hold the metal retainer bracket for the transfer lever rubber boot. It's not clear to be whether I should use the same floor screws or something else. In other locations where the floor screws are used such as on the gearbox cover have a recess for the spire nut, but not for the holes in the retainer bracket. So do I just use the same spire nuts despite no recess, or use something else ?

Any advice appreciated !!

Cheers,
John

I used the floor screws.
Got a few, new, extras if short.
Plus captives.

Thanks guys, it just seemed odd to me that there's no rebate in the panel for the captive / spire nuts.

I'll give it a go !!

John
