HOLY crap!! looks good but what are you planing to hit?

Only prob is see with it is that dif guard is going to act like a shovel when u reverse in the mud and if you hit a rock it might tear the whole lot off!!

My $0.02

I like the look and concept of those guards, I really do.

But I agree with others, backing off somthing will be bad!

Also, and the reason I wont be fitting this style and sticking with a conventional guard is that you have lost about 2" of clearance under the axle tubes.

This is the place I rely on to allow me to hop over a small rock etc.... that would otherwise hit the pumpkin.

Looks nice though!!!

Cheers
Mike

Crump,
Looks good. They have changed a little. I currently have one fitted to my LRTD5Def05, had it also on my 300TDi. Guys are right it sometimes gets caught reversing. Had this happen only once where I thought I was actually caught on the rear diff. But for the amount of protection it offers I think it far out weighs the negatives. As for clearance I really haven't had to many issue. Good product by Troutbeck.

I think you would stuff the mounts way before you did any damage to the axle housing, I imagine thats gonna make a bit of noise, and around then I'll realise its time to retreat, and the 2" lift is not far away. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

That thing is huge.

Looks great but far to big to be practical - clearance is everything and is normally an advantage to Rovers over other models https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Looks strong though 8) No steering damage for you!
