Hi, I have conducted a quick search on here and can find references to ELM327 readers used on P38 with android phones/bluetooth, but none with Apple/wifi.

I have obtained a wifi reader and am able to get the phone to connect to the dongle using "Car Scanner", but this in turn will not connect to the car's ECU, whether running or not. Other apps will refuse to connect at all.

Can anyone recommend an app for Apple? I realise it will only provide basic EFI related stuff, but this is what I need.

Thanks

Thanks guys. Sadly BlueDriver seems to be bluetooth only. I bought a wifi reader as I was told it'd be more likely to work with iphone.

Dash Command has a cost, which is fine if I know it'll work.

Is P38 OBD or OBDII? Perhaps an OBDII specific reader won't work.

DashCommand works but only for the engine stuff of course
