93 abs pump

Afraid your chances are not good. I spent days trying to get one and finally used a "work around" solution with a P38 pump and motor. They are easier to find though still not cheap - I paid $300 for a second hand unit - a lot less than anything from the US or UK.

Fitting is surprisingly easy, just do NOT remove the original accumulator OR any of the brake lines. Modify the supporting legs of the pump so you can bolt the new unit onto the base where the original was located. (You may have to turn it through 90 degrees). Then use the existing flexible hose to join the new accumulator to the old one. This gives you two accumulators, but that makes no difference to the functions.

Do remember to change the relay under the side of the left hand seat - it was probably a failure of the relay that caused the original pump/motor to fail

You could pull all the ABS stuff out and fit a Discovery booster and master cylinder.

That would be the cheapest option.

That's what was done to my soft dash. The brakes weren't great but they worked.

That is because the relay has "latched" and the motor has been running continuously - I found this out the hard (and expensive way). It is the reason why the relay MUST be replaced whenever the ABS system plays up.

Pull the relay and fuse under the left seat, remove the 3 bolts securing the motor to the ABS pump. The pump itself is unlikely to be damaged and with luck, you have not yet burned out the motor, but the brush holders are only plastic and do not need much heat to destroy them.

P38 ABS motors are identical to those on Classics but are still hard to find and are expensive for that reason. The alternative is to get the motor rebuilt - contact Rewind Services at Seven Hills - very reliable and helpful

FisherX suggestion might be the only other option but it is not quite as simple as it sounds because there are complications with lines to the brakes and the fitting of the MS

Mate, have a look at this website for Falcon Works in Arizona USA who have extensive knowledge and replacement/rebuild options for Wabco ABS systems, including rebuilding your own pump. I've read on AULRO in the past that some guys have sent their pumps over there for rebuild (probably when the exchange rate was a lot more favourable!)

They list relay failure as a common cause of pump failure which sounds like what's happened to yours.
