Hi all I a m thinking of changing the turbo core do I have to change the intercooler mine is a early intercooler and the motor is stock exept for the egr removal thanks all.No you don't, but of course the more bits you change the better the result should be, I'm guessing you are going hybrid?

The original d2 intercooler is a fairly poor looking affair, however,I upgraded mine to the late model one and haven't really noticed Any difference, I would suggest when the time comes to go aftermarket....$$$

I put an d2a intercooler into my 99 d2 and with an Td5inside map it has done wonders to the disco

Check and see if there’s a group buy on the hybrid cores? I keep saying I’ll get one and something always takes priority!! Like a new rear bar after the P plater reversed into a pole!!

Ha, nope just new rear steel bar, now the D2 will be P plater resistant🤣🤣
