Hi All.
Lets start a thread on Podcasts You are listening to.
I'd like to propose we note Podcast Name and Content. Duration ideal but won't work for ongoing episode casts. Link is great. Inclusion on advertisements (Part of Podcast or not appreciated)
I'll start with 2. Both ABC;
1. Russia If You're Listening - Podcast on Donald Trump and the ongoing Russia/Donald Trump link. Really well produced. No ad's. 20-30 minutes per episode. Russia, If You're Listening - ABC Radio (https://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/russia-if-youre-listening/)
2, Conversations with Richard Fidler. Just a good 50 minutes or so of a variety of topics. One of the best I've listened to was on Mark Covin's father; 'John Colvin was a senior figure in MI6, the UK's foreign intelligence service and was obliged to keep his activities mostly secret from his family'. Enjoy : )

Hardcore history by Dan Carlin is pretty interesting for someone like me who was never into history at school.
I also like No Dumb Questions cos its hosted by Destin Sandlin from the YouTube channel Smarter Every Day.
And for the D&D fans there is a podcast called Dungeons and Daddies - a non BDSM podcast [emoji106]

I love TED talks
In 1995, the British Medical Journal published a report about a builder who accidentally jumped onto a nail, which pierced straight through his steel-toed boot. He was in such agonizing pain that any movement was unbearable. But when the doctors took off his boot, they discovered that the nail had never touched his foot at all. What's going on? Joshua W. Pate investigates the experience of pain. [Directed by Artrake Studio, narrated by Addison Anderson].
"your brain's executive function every day" is more than cool by Sabine Doebel

I thought I'd bump this one up a bit.
Given the Covid situation I have been doing some very long walks (conditions permitting) and been listening to the following (all on Spotify);
Team Effort - Comedy
Ed Cavalee, Ash Williams and guests. Very loose. Not for young ears. Well worth a listen. Start with Ep 13. Lawrence Mooney on the Rusty Trombone
Tools in the Shed - Weekly motoring podcast. Australian production
From Cars Guide. A bunch of guy just talking car news. Very easy listening
Smith & Sniff - Car based chat but quite funny
Jonny Smith (ex Fifth Gear) and Richard Porter (script writer for Top Gear and now The Grand Tour)
Good, light fun. Very english humour but not stuffy
Espionage - True Stories (not true crime)
Really informative. Based on actual cases such as the Cambridge 5, Mata Hari, heaps of CIA and KGB stuff
This is my latest 'go to'
