View Full Version : International Space station very visible wednesday evening SE Qld

for those skygazers, the International Space Station Will be very bright and very visible with good binoculars

it will rise at 10* in the SW at 17.28:50 mag -3.8 and track across the sky for 06:30mins through to the NE and end at 10* alt.

I got all excited then [biggrin],, I actually just happened to pick up the binoculars from the van at the farm last weekend so I could check out "what car is that?" in a paddock I pass every week,,, its an old Nissan by the way [bigsad] So I have them here in the car in Melbourne now [biggrin]

So, today, I read this, I've just been and checked out your link RB,,, bugger, I'll have a whole 2 minutes to get this right [bighmmm]
We often refer to things as "needing the stars to align",,,

I dont know what the sightings are at Tangangalamba....is that where they kick bags of spuds across the Murray River for sport?

still 2 hours to go,, one complete earth revolution, I might see me in the 3d visualization as it flies by,, behind the rain clouds.....

Yep spotted it about 0500 from PNG, very bright, before i read this post

It's stopped raining, 4,000 mils so far this year
