.W.Yeah thats what I say, still have a bag under my bench collecting dust lol. I wouldn't use them for plaster because they pop the face over time but maybe another light weight sheet like 12mm ply that dosnt need the fixings plastered over. They bend easy though so be wary.
Cheers

I thought the sheets were fastened these days with similar but crosshead screws or at least they were here. Drill/Gun comes with a strip Magazine of screws & is a lot faster & better than the nails.

Just sayin'.

They're Gyprock nails, and are used in pairs for ceilings. Collated screws are also used for the same purpose by those with the money/reasons to buy the screw gun to drive them.

Hey BSF, you did everyone a favour by picking them up :BigThumb:

No-one needs them in a tyre.

LRJim's pretty right - not much use for anything else.

That's the reason I picked them up. Started off with a few , then a few dozen and ended up with over 600.

All the Dropper needed to become a Droppee was a magnet on a string & could have saved him/herself a few $$. Or a Dustpan & a Broom.

Cest la vie I guess.

Specifically - they are distributed by tyre repair centres to induce slow leaks...
