8) can you explain 'galvanised aluminium' for me, as i am unfamiliar with this?
i understand the process for steel, but have not heard of galvanising aluminium.
very nice looking stone/sump guard.
first get the d3, methinks.

Can be confusing as you can "galvanise" a steel with aluminium/zinc compound. I did a google search and it is out there.
The gear looks great, if I had the moola to buy a d3 then I would have it for the extra's 2.
I also saw in the google search that Aluminium can now be welded to steel by cold fusion. News to me. Maybe gal steel can be too..

Initial things I am looking at are bullbar with winch useability, roof racks. The thing is I want to retain the look of the vehicle hence why for me an ARB bull bar is out and possibly the current LR bull bar is in. Does the winch there go behind the number plate. Keep me posted as I am bargaining with the Mrs between $$$ for house and $$$ for D3  ,

Mike,
Do you know whether the Rear Wheel Carrier will be roadworthy? Looks like it covers the rear tail light from all viewing angles.
Those ugly brake and turn indicators Kaymar use for their RWC would make the D3 look like cr@p if you have to fit them.
