Well I suppose it is a sign of the times. Swazi from New Zealand are to outsource some production to Thailand. Here is the video that accompanied the email I got. Davey gives the reasons for the decisions.

Just looked through all their videos and the titles and I can’t work that out either.

They do outdoor gear like jackets and fleeces. They are not cheap but their gear is good.

I had some of their gear shipped to Ireland. Can't say better than that.
I bought this from them and it is the best coat for winter on the hills I have ever come across.

Thanks. I never go anywhere where it gets cold enough to own something like that. Worst I’ve camped in is -7 degrees and while very chilly, it warmed up to a balmy 4 above by lunch so it was back to a tee shirt and hoodie, which is normally as rugged up as I get.

Bugger you Homie, I don't mind the cold as long as it doesn't get below 20C. [bigsad]

I'm with you, Ian. Anywhere south or west of Grafton is too cold after May.

I’m guessing we won’t see him there anytime soon Nick. 😁

The cold camping I was talking about was indeed at Winter Wombat a few years back Ian, you’d have loved it! It was white everywhere from frost and most of the diesel vehicles wouldn’t start. I had to get the L322 towed into the morning sunshine and when I opened the bonnet there was frost on the injector lines. 👍
A couple of pics - probably don’t wake up to this up your way huh? I think the official description is ‘****ing freezing’
