Best and Cheapest mechanics in Brisbane Please

Could anyone suggest the best place (quality and price) to have work done on my Discovery II?

MR Automotive, 182 Anzac Ave, Redcliff Ph 07 3284 6688. Used them a few times and pleased with them. They are Landrover specialists, not a dealer.

For hard to find problems, a dealer is still the best as they have greater access to LR info than an indepenant as we found to our cost with one problem that MR could not diagnose properly and a dealer knew straight away the problem and fixed it.

Just been quoted $480 for my 40000km service from MR, had nothing but trouble with the two dealers who have done the previous services, like a car with no clutch that was ready for me to pick up???And then when I pointed this MINOR oversight out to be told the Mechies are just about to knock off, can you wait til Monday,it was a Friday Arvo.Anyway have used MR once before and was happy with the job and it was completed on time, plus they seem happy to tell you what they are doing.

If you're on the Southside, and you dont wan't a dealer try TechnoBritish at Moorooka. Great lads, very cluey, overly helpful and excellently priced.

Don't worry about the NonDealer, most have the same diagnostic tools and software as the dealers these days anyway.

Changes for the info. I was wrapped to hear about the MR Automotive in Redcliffe as I live in Mango Hill and work in Redcliffe. I rang them and they sound great. Will be introducing myself to them soon.
